Betjamen Arms and MotherFlipper: London Burger Roundup #7

The latest London Burger roundup, submitted by you. This week we have a cheeseburger from The Betjeman Arms, MotherFlipper, and an unknown joint near Bond St...:

Burger: Cheeseburger (read Kavey's review)
Location: The Betjeman Arms, St Pancras
What did you think?: Pete could not resist the Betjeman beef burger with brioche bun, mature cheddar cheese, bacon and chips (£12.50) with onion rings (£1 extra). When it came, it looked impressive, presented with steak knife upright holding the onion rings above the burger. However, it suffered from two flaws – it was way too large to be eaten as a burger and the beef patty was very dry indeed, not to mention lacking in flavour. A shame because the bun was one of the nicest we’ve come across and the chips and condiments were also good. And the onion rings were excellent.

Burger: Cheeseburger
Location: MotherFlipper
What did you think?: The much loved Double Candy Bacon Flipper from the folks at the Motherflipper food stall at Brockley Market. Great patties topped with cheese, bacon and accompanied by red onion and gherkins, held in a lovely brioche bun. Total hangover therapy on a Saturday morning.

What did you think?: I found this burger in a little mews, just of bond street in Mayfair. Apart from Honest Burger this is by far one of the best burgers I've had in London.

hey lets do a blog on burgers and then go around checking out all the burgers there are and then take pictures of them as well and ask other people who write blogs on other exciting things to comment on the photos...what an awesome idea
