Red Dog Saloon and The North Pole: London Burger Roundup #8

This week on the London Burger Roundup, we have some burger love in strange places from you fabulous burger pic submitters, the Red Dog Saloon, and The North Pole, N1:

Burger: The Punisher
Location: Red Dog Saloon (read my Red Dog Saloon review here), Hoxton Square
What did you think?: The Punisher, an awesome burger with 16 hour smoked pork butt, applewood smoked bacon and American cheese. The meat was good quality, juicy and medium rare. It was a little indulgent to say the least with the additional bacon and smoked pork! The bun was a sweet yellow sour dough affair which was different but really good. I'd really advise you to try this place. I love Burgers, maybe as much as you!

Burger: Cheeseburger
Location: The North Pole, N1
What did you think?: This burger is from The North Pole in N1 and it's absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, with a soft and toasted until it's almost-but-not-quite charred bun, it was an absolute beast of a burger. It actually tasted homemade — you know when you can actually taste that someone has made it from hand? Like that. The combination of cheese, meat, pickle, tomato, bacon and salad is always a winner, but somehow it just worked that little bit better than I've tasted anywhere else here. The best burger I've had in London, hands down.
