"With good bread, good meat, and good vegetables, the possibilities are endless."
I received a lovely surprise in the post the other day - a press review copy of the upcoming ENGLISH TRANSLATION of
Hamburger Gourmet*
.
The book is authored by, among others, Vincent Garnier the founder of chic Paris hamburger chain
BLEND, who clearly had a lot of fun writing it.
'From the beautiful simplicity of a classic beef burger to patties made from lamb, pork, fish, chicken, duck, and quinoa, Hamburger Gourmet is a delicious ode to the humble burger.' reads the press release accompanying the book. And who am I to disagree?
Hamburger Gourmet has 58 recipes for burger fillings, bun options, sauces, sides, and desserts and tips for mixing them together to create the ultimate burger.

Welcome to Hamburger Gourmet. Come on in. |
|
Hamburger Gourmet tops for the perfect hamburger. |
|
Make your own hamburger buns. BLEND make all theirs in-house. |
|
BLEND's classic Hamburger in Hamburger Gourmet. |

Hamburger Gourmet recipes are short and accompanied by beautiful images |
I purchased the original version in French earlier this year. However, to see the English translation with it's fabulous infographics, tips for a great burger, short recipes, and of course the same lip-smackingly delicious photography, well it's glorious.
You can purchase
Hamburger Gourmet*, published by Murdoch Books,
from 7th November. It has a retail price of £14.99, but you can order the book on
Amazon*.
My advice to avid burger fans is get your orders in now - you won't be disappointed!
