Byron - Triple Cheesemas

Byron's Christmas special is the Triple Cheesemas. Following its popularity last year, George Osborne's favourite burger chain are putting on a the menu a heart-stopping combination of two 6oz hamburgers, spicy Byron burger sauce and a trio of melted American cheese, Emmenthal and Monterey Jack, all wrapped in a glazed bun.

It's priced at £11.95, and it's MASSIVE! Come hungry. Leave full.

The Diner - Santa Burger

This year The Diner are getting in on the Christmas burger act with their Santa Burger. Comprising pickled cabbage, coca cola-braised short rib, pepperjack cheese and a mustard mayo 'slaw, this is a sticky, spicy, moreish burger and the perfect counterpoint to all those festive mince pies!

This burger is priced at £10 and is available in all Diner restaurants across London.

Hawksmoor - Turkey Burger

For the second year running, Hawksmoor are putting on a Christmas burger. This one comprises a juicy slab of buttermilk fried turkey topped with a sausage patty made from Ginger Pig Tamworth pork. It's then topped with crispy smoked bacon, sprout tops and spiced cranberry ketchup, all held together with a slab of melted Ogleshield cheese.

It comes with duck fat roast potatoes on the side and turkey gravy for you to French Dip the whole thing in, so you can have a whole Christmas dinner, in burger form. I approve.

It costs £12 and is available from Spitalfields Bar.

Honest Burgers - Christmas Special

As expected, British burger stalwart Honest Burgers have brought back their Christmas special burger, with all the hallmarks of burger brilliance that we've come to expect. It consists of their usual, high quality beef patty, topped with smoked bacon, deep fried, panko-crumbed Camembert and cranberry sauce.

For £11, including Rosemary Fries, it's the perfect burger to take your christmas shopping hunger out on.

Ben's Canteen - Turkey Burger

It's been a while since I last visited Ben's Canteen, but it looks like they're onto a winner with their Christmas Turkey burger. Complete with astuffing ball on top, it's a buttermilk fried piece of turkey, with 'slaw, bacon, cranberry, and mayo. You can order it as part of a £15 or £25 Christmas menu, or you may be able to get it as a special for £8.50.

Tommi's Burger Joint - Christmas Burger

Tommi’s Burger Joint have created a limited edition venison burger. It's a venison patty topped with cheese, rocket, pickled red cabbage and cranberry sauce. Tommi's selects it's meat from HG Walters, and its buns from Millers bakery - so it's gonna be good. It's priced at £9.90 and £1 from every burger will go to disabled charity Scope - meaning you can get your burger fill AND feel good about helping a great cause.
