Meat Free January 2014 - The London Veggie Burger Review

Well, hello 2014.

Another year, another set of new year resolutions I'm never going to keep. Don't ask. And another January where I'm going meat and alcohol free. Needless to say the cravings have started, and I want bacon all the time, but so far I've been resolute.

In January 2013 I embarked on a month long review of the various veggie burgers available to non-meat eaters (and detox suckers) available in London - and this year I plan to continue my veggie burger research across a selection of other London burger joints.

You can check out my reviews of the various establishments I tried in 2013 below - and keep an eye out for my new reviews in 2014:

Just read the reviews and you come across as a right moanbag. Mental attitude is everything - a positive viewpoint on your new meat-free January might actually reap rewards.

  4. I think you are right to moan, I always get disappointed with the lazy 'portabello mushroom in a soggy bun' that appears to be the standard offering for vegetarians and the veggie fritter from Honest Burger is such a welcome change. It's simple, tasty and possibly the best I've ever had to date. Burger joints take note!

  5. Thanks for the comment Jen. I agree that the Honest burgers veggie fritter is a damn good meat substitute. I'd also check out the Portobello mushroom from Patty & Bun (http://bit.ly/1b0P8ov) - it's in another league!
